Alumnae Store@MGS Fun Fair
If you’re planning to rejuvenate your wardrobe from last seasons’ looks, or unclutter your home ahead of the year end, please contribute your gently used items towards a good cause – the Alumnae Store at the annual MGS Fun Fair!
We are collecting contributions from now until 28 October. Do drop them off at the entrance of the Alumnae Room in MGS during this period. We welcome all contributions which are in good, clean and useable condition.
To get into MGS, please register at the Security Post and inform them that you bringing the items to the MGS Fun Fair’s Alumnae Store.
Our store, which overflows each year with gently used treasures – from clothes to household items, books and toys – is always a hit with funfair shopaholics. Most popular is the ‘Red Bag Sale’ at the end of the shopping hours when our customers fill it with anything they like on our shelves for just $10. All proceeds go to supporting the alumnae and its activities.
From previous years, we have had items like old school files with scribbled notes, used workbooks, jigsaws with missing pieces and such like. In the spirit of decency and goodwill, we appeal to you to contribute only things which are in a condition you are willing to use yourself. Thanks for your co-operation.

The Fun Fair itself will take place at MGS on Friday, 30 October from
